different people practice religion differently the old testament literally has the price of a slave and that a rapist has to marry the victim and pay a dowery to the father I'm catholic but i don't think gays are damned to hell. these things are subject to interpretation. most Christians see the old testament as a book of fables that was influenced by man, so they listen to what it represents, not its word persay. so, like i said, religion is up to interpretation if you really wanna split hairs on classifications

How you interpret things within your religion is completely up to you butbit doesnt change the fact it is still a religion. Some hate crimes are just of hate but most terrorists have a belief in a specific religion and feel their cause justifies doing evil deeds

wtf is the difference between belief and religion? its all belief lol i can ignore the silly instructions the bible has and still be catholic as long as i worship Jesus, god, mary and the believe in the saints so by that definition who is to say what a religious murder is? allah said not to hurt others, but if a Muslim murdered a bunch of gay people in the name of allah then was it not a religious murder?

Thats why many religions exist. Christianity branches off Catholicism and then there are born again Christians and baptists and all these different branching religions that revolve basedboff the belief whole holding true to the religion
