Tiger Festival "Interracial Dating.... So does the race mean anything to you? I'm Black but is willing to date any race of female. How about the rest of you? Does race really matter to you? and why?" I only had one serious boyfriend in the past and we were an interracial couple, we hit it off pretty well and I never really thought about his race much. I do however, have a thing for caucasian/european descent men. I find white guys very exotic looking and handsome :) All and all I love seeing interracial relationship! I totally support it. As long as two people are happy together, you have all of my best wishes :)

its a tough subject for me since i consider myself a mutt. (half jewish and half peruvian) but i find jews unattractive and peruvian girls are rare here in MN. Caucasian and asian are nice But deep down the mixing of the races bother me, but i still am open minded to it. when it comes to the grand timeline and the in ability to be isolated i dont think races will realy matter.

This is something I've thought about a lot, so I'll try to keep it short. Race is a product of socialization. The attraction of one person to the features of another is also heavily socialized. The changing image of the "beautiful" person even within the last 50 years is strong evidence for this. Another example is the number of people on this thread stating their attraction to Asian persons. The exposure to Asian culture has thoroughly affected many of us in this way. I personally would like to dismiss the idea of race in regards to dating, however that can be a difficult task. The most common response here appears to be that race doesn't matter, or a preference to Caucasian or Asian. I find it interesting that no one has specifically stated an attraction to black persons, and Tiger Festival denied this (Be assured, I'm not criticizing you...).
