Friendship(No Wall of text this time)

Are friendships really temporary? I'm asking since throughout my life my friendships with others have died out and my last two remaining friendships are fading away, I've also seen lots of other ppl's friendships fade away too as well as my sister's and some of my cousins.Even on TV I see it. So I'm only asking for opinions and personal experiences from some of you here.

^ What's a good/true friend to you?

People grow apart, move on, etc. Honestly, I had a decent number of friends in high school, and now as an adult in his 30's, I may only talk to one of them on a very rare occasion. Even a lot of my college friends are only casual chats here or there.

Then another question. What's the point of friendships when they end anyway? They say we humans are social creatures and we need companionship, and yet it's very temporary. So then what's the point then?

Well I will say that I prefer the company of animals a lot of times to other people. I cannot stand how some people are so fake or 2D, it just pisses me off

Sadly I have lost many friends. People get their own lives and lose touch it's kinda sad. I knew this one guy for like 15 years we started our friendship at seven. But now he has a wife and nothing is the same anymore we don't talk that much anymore. I'm happy for my friend sure but I miss what we had. He was someone I could go to for anyone and now it's like we don't even know each other anymore. He may be gone but I still have my memories and I will still be here for him. True friends are always there for you.

I've lost a lot of friends for different reasons. Sometimes they were superficial from the start, others just broke down after misunderstandings or changes in lifestyle. It sucks, but they make up a part of my life and memories and sometimes helped me to be a better person. There are those who are semi-close and still talk to me randomly or help when I need it. But everyone goes through a cycle in life with stuff, so I think there are reasons we start and end relationships (friends, dating, family, etc.).

I partially agree with that myself
