Trust?

Well, recently I am losing most of my trust for people. My friends, girls, and most of my family. I don't want to seem like I'm trying to push all of my problems out onto these forums. I do need help, but I don't want my parents to pay for it. Anyways, I am in highschool, which explains most of it. I tried to date this girl, but it turned out to be more like friends with benefits sadly. She would lie about everything to her ex. My question is, why are people so eager to avoid consequences? Seems like people now a days have no sense of morals. If I get caught, I admit to it and take things like a man. Not because of pride, but those are my morals. A lot of things have added up to these problems of mine, including my brother. Which he sees me more as an investment. We are eighteen years apart, so he wasn't around for me a lot. He can be very two faced at times too, he will praise you then curse you when you are five feet away from him. At work I have a lot of time to think since I stock (usually only stock boy) I found myself wondering if life can be trusted, how am I to know if the people I talk to are actually there? I'm not thinking about it anymore. To be honest I just needed to tell someone. I know you all don't know me and to be honest I'm shy on forums. xD What is your opinions?

Hmm i would have to say to know if you can trust a person you would have to trust everyone so that you can find out more about them to judge if they were trustworthy or not. So i guess to put it simply you have to be trusting to see if you can really trust others if that makes sense.

I do trust a few people. I am a friendly generous person, which my friends tend to take advantage over. The problem really is that I don't forgive, I just become bitter. I get what your are saying though, thank you.

yes that could be a problem. the only solution i can suggest is to take your relationships with others more casually and take time to learn more about the person so that if anything like before happens it wont mean as much to you. other then that idea i have no idea of what to do.

True, in like dating, I'm good for getting to know and stuff. I guess with friends I keep trying to find "bros" and it gets me in bad places. I am starting to be friends with the people at work, so I guess that is my next shot.
