@adrian21 ooohhh shit you read out?? isnt it so much better than tokyo manji? the fight scenes are so much more gruesome and well plotted, and arent simply "punch punch oh uh he has a deadly weapon." and the protagonist sits out a lot of it, which lets the cast fill out better. iv always hated how weak takemichi is, and he never fucking trains to get stronger. way better to have a guy thats already strong but cant fight too much because of his record plus theyr not in highschool, so it makes sense why theyd be so violent and buff ect and no character in tokyo manji holds the weight of a character like taguchi. i was surprised that a delinquent manga could bring such a well written character

@momoichi yesssss its so much better tokyo revengers feels more similar to erased than a delinquent manga to me its kinda a delinquent manga but not at the same time if you know what I mean also no spoilers for out I've been letting the chapters pile up so I can binge read it btw one thing I never got is when you ask people for a good delinquent manga sometimes they'll say holyland is one of the better mangas but I'm like "bro it isn't its soooo lame" when the mc was fighting this gang leader the manga explained how rocks hurt people to me I shit you not

@adrian21 it really is! i will say that the mystery with kisaki was pretty interesting, and kisaki was a really good villain, though his motivations were pretty nonsensical for a genius. lol im actually super behind on out as well xD i stopped around 130 i think. there are so many parallels between out and tokyo manji, i wonder if the mangaka was inspired by it. i think the best aspects of tokyo manji were ripped from out and shonenified. iv never read holyland, but i think i saw it recommended in one of the translater buffers. have you read bakuon? iv only read a bit of it, maybe 20 chapters, but its really good. i saw it recommended because it has the most realistic depiction of a young boy joining a bosozoku gang have you ever read my dearest self with malice aforethought? its more of a psychological crime mystery but it has suspense and a gang in it. reeeallllyyyy good manga when you get like, 15 chapters in. @momoichi yeah it didn't really make sense to me either i think that might just be a coincidence tbh no I haven't I'll check those out later, have you read shamo or to you, the immortal? ( sorry for the short replies I have a lot more to say but I'm bad at texting and got bad grammar so if you ever wanna vc and talk about it more I'd be down so I can explain more of my thoughts also I'm pretty tired today lol)
