the message was the sexualization in the anime industry that helps neets cope with not having a gf yeah anime is sexist in its objectification of women, and it does help neets cope with being alone and fuels hikkikomori situations BUT japan is a capitalism and that sells, so nothing will change there

I always thought it was about everything on the internet, and how it satisfy people in different regions, Video Games, Porn, and even Music, it shows that the internet is full of crazy stuff and how people can be trapped in the internet. weird way of putting it but yeah I also looked up the plot and it said ME!ME!ME! Is the story of Shuu battling his addiction to anime and hentai, in an attempt to get his girlfriend back who he left. He gets tempted and loses, getting back into anime and losing his fight.
