a taste of what a weasel ben shabibo is (i say weasel because he's not stupid, he knows this is bullshit) he is for charter schools as an alternative to just giving more funding to schools in lower income areas (as school funding has to do with property tax) but the issue is not all kids can charter to better schools, either for not living near any bus stations or just too many students applying and not everyone can get accepted so kids are still stuck in these shitty schools so instead of forcing more students on these teachers in these better schools why not ya know GIVE MORE FUNDING TO THESE UNDERFUNDED SCHOOLS AND JUST FIX THE ISSUE INSTEAD OF ADDING A FLIMSY BANDAID OVER IT like, holy shit

I can understand, it's really easy to allow your emotion to drive your logic in the wrong way, especially considering the current circumstances that doesn't mean that it's okay to cling on those desperate ideologies though. I really don't think that clinging on to clearly flawed ideologies is a presentable working solution, we should be encouraging people to figure out solutions to these problems, we should be encouraging people to educate themselves on the truth. This may sound harsh but why is it considered acceptable for people to be unreasonable just because they were heavily affected by recent events, where does that get us in the grand scheme of things?
