These plans are just plans, i cant hold anyone to anything not even trump. But i especially dont think this plan is really all biden has in mind.

then how can you say biden is going to be bad at all if you don't look at what he wants to get done? you solely vote for incumbents and in lame duck election years you flip a coin?

hey, you're free to go find a more lucrative industry, panda (outside of any contractual obligations, obvi)! that's what your individualist brothers-in-arms would say. free-enterprise is a cutthroat ice queen. if you're not doing well for yourself that's obviously your fault and you need to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and 'get that bread' for 'you and your own'.

Pretty easy to say when there is no consequence if you fail at your job or just not show up. A budget cut for us wont come in the form of less money it will mean less people in an already undermanned field. I see more people leave due to work stress than anything else. And it boils down to manning. less manning? Its cuz less money. Thats a whole different topic im not gonna go into. But our economy hasnt completely plummeted despite all that has happened and i can honestly say trump isnt doing a bad job.

@hell_hound7 the military budget is the highest expenditure in the government shouldn't you be angrier at its allocation instead of asking for more money?

There is alot of factors that goes into that allocation that is a whole different debate. Imma stay on topic this time. But yeah, i wanna see this biden utopia people believe will come once he is elected. Then i wanna see what they have to say after his term is up.

what's the consequence for failing in employment with the military? we stop geo-raping everyone and everywhere for resources and control? i hate getting anti-military like this, because i honestly consider myself a patriot. i love this country and everyone who lives here, and i would fight and die to keep us safe. that being said, the reason why we may not be safe probably is deeper than 'they bad us good'. i think until the human race is working on a united global front, most of if not all martial conflicts overseas are in the name of imperialism or resource hoarding. but yeah other places have dummies in charge too who ALSO mean really bad, so it's an annoying conversation to have. and no one is expecting a biden utopia. we expect to rejoin the world political stage as a legitimate country who is willing to play nice and aren't irrational isolationist jag offs

The problem with most things on either side is thag most look at statistics which are largely situational, and can often depend on the questiond asked. As a person whose family owns a restaurant... we have a hard time under dems. Many reasons. Main one is is that trickle down effect DOES work, it just works both beneficial and negatively. The negative is from corporate side. Many small businesses are now forced into llcs as it is often a safer business model as it allows for qualifying for different benefits particularly with taxes. Also when you raise taxes on corporations, the small businesses that buy from them suffer because legally you cant control how much a company charges unless its a government sanctioned monopoly. Also the more codes you have for businesses, the more that has to be paid for, and the more the small ones suffer. Secomdly, federal minimum wage also has an effect. And the payroll.often is what costs the most to a small business. Wages go up, their prices go up because not only the wages have to.go.up, but the tax paid on those wages too. As for income tax. Extra tax on the super rich has failed, as have luxary taxes etc. Sweden tried a more socialist tax structure, their economy tanked, one lady who wrote childrens books had marginal tax rate of 120%. Even after they did away from that she was still amember ofthe socialist side. Good on her, but still. And the trickle down effect DOES work, as long as the money trickles into the economy directly. Being taxed ensures it goes to government first not the people. Just look at how there is "no money in the social security fund..." well why not? Where are our tax dollars?

Im saying these holy tax plans dems think are gonna save the economy isnt going to social programs like they think. Trump has actually tried to keep the economy going. If we were still in lock down where tf would we be? Third world country status probably. We shut down for 2 weeks and look how bad we eneded up.

@taiyou trickle down will never work with a culture that glorifies personal wealth and private property. wages aren't going up tho. the cost of living has skyrocketed with stagnant wages. that is an abject failure of reaganomics. not even with 'job creators' getting their arms twisted behind their backs do we see wages rising on the whole. our culture of greed and entitlement is well too strong. if that's not abundantly clear i really don't know what USA you're living in >_<
