this truly is the best example of transphobia they refuse to actually learn about the topic they are so clearly passionate about

i think trans ppl know their situation when they are very young. that seems to be the trend. if anything this is confirmed by other cultures (like native americans) who had conventions for shit like this before all the white folk came over with their boats and small pox. if one were to raise 'n' amount of kids (as n approaches infinity) in a societal vacuum, i'd imagine there would be many instances of those born XX or XY who strongly feel as tho they were born with the incorrect set of chromosomes and body parts and feel dysphoric because of it. I'd be willing to bet absurd money on that. what logically follows is that, with the proper psych counseling, it's definitely acceptable to have conversations about this. you don't have to bow down to our liberal shit this very moment, but being unwilling to have a conversation wont progress us towards your end of things as well. (it won't ever because we base our shit off of science and empirical data, but yeah >_< still try!)

@frozenxheavens these are the same people that say men are masculine by default and women are feminine by default but then say a kid doesn't know there gender we trust boys and girls that say theyr a boy or a girl but if a boy says hes a girl they don't trust it? i have a nephew, for instance, and he loves trucks and lawn tools (hes a lil weirdo) and iv given him my old teddy bears and some dolls i had lying around and he doesn't like them as much i use to not believe in gender stereotypes but i understand now that yeah, guys sometimes do just like guy things and girls sometimes just like girl things, and by that same logic a trans child would like what their gender identity appeals to also frozen you have a civility i could never wield xD I'm way too petty and aggressive

i think it just depends on personality and circumstance. i always naturally vibed with boy shit like toy trucks and hot wheels, but i also liked playing barbies with my sister and getting my nails painted and shit because i saw her having fun doing those things. i remember i cried when i was 4 because my mom yelled at my sister for painting my nails and when i told her i wanted it she tried to tell me that 'it's not a boy thing'. that shit hurt me so bad because i was having so much fun with it and got told it was 'wrong' and 'weird'. to tell people, who are enjoying life in ways that do not negatively physically affect themselves, to stop doing shit that makes them happy for 'societal taboos' is just fucking autismo pro-capitalist trash that's meant to keep us depressed and consuming.

my mom said something similiar as well, that if my brother ever wanted to paint his nails or wear make up she wouldn't let him it must be a generational thing, and i think its more to protect the child from ridicule then it is actual personal disdain sorry that happened to you though :/ I'm glad your able to feel freer to express yourself these days!
