Communist Regimes controlled by them. They wanted puppet states. And you guys also supported Cambodia's Khmer Rouge, slaying a good portion of the Cambodian population under the terrible Pol Pot. Why? Bc Cambodia was China's ally, and by extension, US' too.

i get it could have been a puppet state, my issue is why communist? how does that hurt other comminisms and not fuel this red scare the Americans had? korea was also a war against communism, and they were influenced by china, no? like i know America has a long history of this, we created isis and other shit that ended up biting us in the ass, but i don't understand why we would turn them communist?

Maybe to pass an idea that a "culled socialism" could be done. North Korea was supported by the Soviet Union, btw. China would never bite the hand that fed them at the time. Not when they needed so much to develop.

China is communist only in name now. Their economy, albeit controlled by the State is quite orthodox and liberal.

china now is a government controlled capitalism, but back then they were 100% communist like i said one of the biggest communist talkers was Chinese, and he was almost as big as marx is you still haven't answered how making china communist was advantageous to harming the soviets?

The Soviet Union becoming weaker was a reason. Maybe financial gains from the american elites. But now this is an opinion of mine, not a fact. I still should continue researching.
