now interestingly enough im really bad at reading research papers BUT https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3043071/ it seems this swedish study does show mortality raising post surgery but because the UK research shows the opposite, my guess is they are account for suicide as well as general morbidity that comes with a surgery again, i could be wrong cause im shit at reading research papers, but it could just be the country, not the trans people
