Hey, haven't been here in awhile. Posted this topic because the whole pandemic has had more severe consequences on me than I thought it would. How about you? Did it it affect you and in what way? Are you over it now? Interested in hearing even the smallest details Hope you're fine and take care.

I had to stand in a queue once to get into the supermarket. That's it.

I personally didn't go to the store almost at all, but it's good to know it was limited to just the long queue :)

Lost my job, failed my first college class cuz I CANNOT online, I never go out nor see friends.

That's unfortunate, is there any hope for a new one? Regarding school, I could not graduate this spring myself due to my thesis work so I can relate to that. I didn't even miss my friends that much but more going out in general. Hope the situation gets better soon where you're from!

I am from the USA. Lol! I can get another one with a dramatic pay cut but I have a very weak immune system from 2 autoimmune diseases and no health insurance. So even if I want a job, it might not be the best. I just signed up for in-person classes today, so let's see if I survive the semester.

Best of luck, the health care in the US as well as the handling of the situation is absolute garbage.

Here in Pakistan after we finish 10th grade we have to give a Matric Exam (you guys probably call it something else where you live). Because of Corona I didn't even get a chance to finish my 10th grade. The Sindh Board of Education (Sindh is a Province here. I live in Sindh) announced that all students of 10th grade will be promoted to 11th grade and 4% will be added to their to their Board Exam (an Exam you have to give after 9th grade) results. I got very bad results in my Board Exam. I got 39%, so that means I get 42%. In order to get into a good College, I need at least 75%. I wanted to redeem myself at the Matric Exams but I didn't get the chance. Now I have to stay back and do the Matric Exams.

It's my own fault for not taking my Board Exams seriously. Now it came to bite me in the ass.

I think it's better to stay behind and improve, there's so much time ahead. It may seem like a regret now but I like to believe everything is for a reason... Maybe you'll find the motivation you need this time that you didn't have before?
