the reason everyone like certain things that are against the norm? Ill start I like Rock because to me it is an outcry aimed at fighting the norm I like country because it reminds me of a simpler time. And is pure emotion I like anime because it just puts the biggest smile on my face lol

Some country isn't. I have a very small amount of country on my playlist, a lot of it is just from nostalgia from when I was a kid and my parents played it on the radio. I'm more into rock, pop, classical, and foreign music because it's so much more interesting and I enjoy reading into the lyrics.

Masuji.... you could not be further from the truth that is just the stereotype people have made to have an excuse for hating it. So treating women with respect is sex is sexist? So crying when a girl leaves you is sexist? I cant think of a single song that is racist at all. In fact people go out of there way to try and prove that when there is no cause. I cant think of a single song that has anything to do with a "shotgun wedding" or anything of that nature...

I find a lot of country to be about women (good or bad), some hobby (sports, fishing, horses), extreme situations (divorce, abuse, death, things about life), or something random I can't think of right now. Haven't heard too many about shotgun weddings if at all. There are some backwards traditions in the South but I've lived down here enough to know not everything is rampant everywhere. Sure it's hard to find a rock station on the radio because the majority is rap or country. That's what CDs and mp3 players were made for.
