Re:zero season 2

The thing is that this arc is longer than all the other arcs from season 1 combined. There actually was a lot of action in the Web Novels, don't know about the Light Novels. They have to squeeze a lot into 25 episodes. They kinda decided just to keep dialogue in order for the story to make sense. The majority of the fights we have seen in the anime were way longer in the Web Novels.

The Otto vs. Garfiel fight was so much longer and better in the Web novels, same with Garfiel, vs. ram, Subaru vs. Garfiel, Rienhard vs. Puck, Elsa vs. Beatrice, Garfield vs. The villagers, ect. We are in the climax of this arc and im not gonna lie, they are not delivering with the action, not that re:zero is a shounen anime, but it's action hasn't been done as well as in season 1.

@allatus yes true like the lack of action and focus of dialogue has really watered down this entire season. Its not as hype and not as good. In season 1 they had everything, episode long battles, despair and all that. Now see im ok with season 2 part one but season 2 part two is really sucking hard. Idc much about emilia's back story. They literally could have made a movie explaining some of this crap like they did with frozen bond. Infact they could have saved frozen bond and just added this emilia backstory inbetween the 2 parts of season 2. Idk the hype is really gone.

So i heard the flugel-sama name drop, which reminded me of flugel tree from the white whale episodes. And also who is this pandora character. It also seems regulas corneas is op af to kick betelgeuse's ass

Pandora, at least from the web novel is the witch of vainglory, think they translated it to vanity. Apparently there used to be 9 deadly sins, but vainglory got added to pride, and melancholy added to sloth.
