Clueless

So I've never been one to Pursuit. right now, I'm starting to like this girl. My timing is bad on when to make a move, I feel like I wait too long, or give up on small signs of doubt. I'm kind of old fashioned and like to take things slow. My biggest fear is a turn down and a loss of friendship....

Anyone who has conquered this type of feeling and could share some insight let me know!

I've found that moving too fast can destroy a relationship more than trying to be friends first then learn enough to where you both feel comfortable with each other. If at that point you still feel like you want to go to the next level, it's ok to ask. If they were friend enough they'd either give you a yes or still a no would result in continued friendship. Some people get weirded out when that occurs but you'd know before then if they'd be the type to just leave when something out of the norm happens. Moving fast just to get a relationship started means more arguments, more difficulties, and less trust between the parties involved.

Timing can make a difference, but I've learned to just go with the flow. If you know a girl is into you, she's going to make an effort to call and/or want to spend time with you. Just don't push things too fast and it will come.

I got to spend time with her this weekend, we had an hour and a half long car ride together alone so it was nice! My friend did say she was giving me the look but, I'm trying not to over analyze anything! We are hanging out again soon so ^.^ , I know I need some time to clear my head and do some thinking. There is so much more to the story, I can't share....because it is rather personal.

That's fine. Just work things out and decide when would be best to go forward with the next step. Depending on how long you have known each other and stuff, things may be right.
