The Velvet Room

Personally, I prefer the first two Persona games which were much darker and more unique RPGs. Afterwards, the series turned into a time management dating sim with the same monsters as SMT, no demon negotiation and you can't even give your companions new personas. Therefore, Belladonna and Nanashi.

I can agree Persona could use a shake up to make it fresh again. Of course the same could be said of the Shin Megami series in general. They're not as risky as they once were. Playing it safe with themes that were already made popular by previous entries. I noticed Persona 3 Reload got an update, but I don't understand why. It's not an online game so what needs patching or updating? I mean I don't see SMT V Vengeance getting updates? So why P3?
