My ideal woman

Honestly it is extremely subjective to limit someone to parameters in text, but I will be describing what I want in a partner: A strong, independent personality, because someone who is needy or dependent isn't my type Someone who is educated and on my level of understanding. A good, healthy attraction, because it is really, really hard to be around someone you have no physical attraction to. On the otherhand, looking only skin deep is unhealthy. Health-minded. Yes, I know how hard it can be to eat right and such, but a healthy body also assists in a healthy mind Shares my interests to some degree, such as anime, video games, cars and other stuff like that. Doesn't mind a glass of wine or sake with dinner Doesn't smoke, because its a disgusting habit Isn't afraid to try something new Doesn't mind not having kids. Just a patience thing, really. I could have maybe two kids at most, I grew up with 3 siblings and I don't necessarily like my youngest Likes/tolerates Vocaloid, Dubstep or Techno music Doesn't expect me to marry very soon. If I ever do it will be a slow process, went thru a nasty divorce so I would have to live with the person for a while As far as physical preferences go, I don't mind a woman who isn't thin, but it can't really affect her face, before I get turned off. I do like long hair on a woman, but there are those who can pull off short hair looks very well.

I think it got hidden, I thought I had seen it before with responses. I think I match several points here, but on alcohol I haven't found anything I like or can tolerate yet. I've taste tested stuff from friends or family mostly. I don't like the alcohol back taste, though. I don't smoke because it makes me cough a lot and get headaches from the smell (dad and some friends have smoked around me, I've never smoked before). I like anime, games, not so much interested in cars and dunno what else you're into besides food (from our lengthy discussion). ^w^=

Well I'm into literature, although my English professors cringe when I say I prefer Asian lit to American/British. I like working on techie stuff like computer modding and such, I enjoy shooting guns on occasion, and I enjoy a board game called GO, an old Japanese game. My interests in cars are mostly classics of all nations and I enjoy driving as I have a white BMW sedan I used to drive in VA.

I like literature mainly in the fiction or mythology genre. Not too good with computer stuff besides basic use and some interest in parts to make one run better. I like some board games, haven't played that one, though. I like looking at old cars but not into collecting stuff about them or researching details on them. Just like how some look or the time period.

My father had a 1967 red GTO, classic car it is. My reading is mostly fiction, fantasy, sci-fi and historical fiction As far as the women in anime that I like the most, I have a thing for Yoko Littner, something about her is just a great design. I also really like Gasai Yuno, because, in all honesty, her original intent is entirely innocent, and in the manga she gets Yukiteru, and I also fancy Senjougahara Hitagi, because she is so, abstract perhpas. Not that I necessarily want their qualities in a person, but as far as my bond goes with a partner I'm kind of a freestanding person so I can't really have a mate who 'belongs' to me. I'm also not willing to compromise some of my dreams for someone, such as my planned emigration from the US. Now, if they don't care that I want to leave one day and that I will leave them behind if they won't go with me, then we may carry on with a relationship. My ambitions might change, but I'm not a person who wishes to change someone to be like me and I don't expect the same from another. Sorry if thats brutally honest but I'm tired of compromising ithout getting anything in return so thats where I draw the line.

Those are good genres. My dad bought a 60s navy Cutlass from someone in our neighborhood years ago and it needs to be fixed for different reasons. We have some old Lincolns too that need to be fixed as well from other relatives. Only character I really know in that list is Yuno (and Yukiteru). I agree that she was innocent in intent to begin with but lost it along the way to where it became a yandere obsession. I look for qualities I like in a lot of male characters and generally would like in a partner (some are unrealistic of course since it's from anime). I agree that some things aren't up for compromise at times because of pre-determined plans or decisions. Compromise is still part of a relationship, though so change happens. Forcing change on a partner is wrong though.

Well yeah but I still cried when Yuno died. I'm also not saying i won't compromise, but I won't give up what I want to do for someone else very easily.

It was sad, but not an anime that made me cry. And that's fine, I was just saying my view on compromise.

What anime made you cry? Curious.
