For real though. Don't burn or loot anything. Learn your protesting rites, and if the police violate or abuse their power, get it all on recording. It's been happening far too often. My brother was recently at a protest, despite being immuno compromised due to chemo, and he started to notice something while standing back. The cops were more often than not the ones trying to start shit and make it a violent protest. Thankfully the protesters never took the bait.

In reality, communities in times of lawlessness tend to band together and police themselves. You see that a lot on these boards, actually. If the mods aren't on, or responding to problems, the members who've been here for a long time tend to be the first responders.
