I unknowingly dated a 15yo when I was 21. She was aware of me through the cosplay scene and told me she was 18 when she befriended me at a con. She lived 2 1/2 hours away from me and I wasn't keen on driving so I saw her only a few times. Luckily virgin me only held hands with her. I quickly began to see inconsistencies with her stories as well as her personality. She told my friend she was 17 and then things started making sense. I ghosted her for 3 years but we ended up in the same circle of friends later on. We just pretended the whole thing didn't happen. While I've had my struggles with her, she has improved and has become one of my closest friends.
