1089 I keep getting left ignored by everyone here :/

1090 This will be my final confession. This confession is going to be a long ass story and very serious, so if you're here for the fun, fanfic and feet stuff, skip ahead to the next confession. I came to this dating site to find love, that is one person with whom emotionally we would feel strongly connected/attracted, which could then hopefully develop into a relationship, maybe even marriage ultimately, who knows. I found however a fun chat community with lots of shitposting, which I enjoyed, and also anime related and more serious chats. There was definitely a lot of joy and positivity / friendliness in the threads and I also had some fun conversations with nice people, whom I'm happy to have met on here. However, lately I've been considering leaving MO, because it wasn't working out qua dating for me (I had a crush on one girl, besides that I only met friendly people with whom it didn't hit off in that way) and because lately I hadn't been enjoying it that much (some friends that are often offline or leave mid convo and also some negative small things in some threads, just small things really, but enough for me to enjoy it less than initially). Now, today I've had a misunderstanding which ultimately would've been better dealt with wholly in DM and not in a thread. I'm sorry about that for the girl it involved. I had my reasons for the misunderstanding, but nonetheless it was a misunderstanding on my behalf and it might have caused her (I think only temporarily) some image damage in the thread as well as that she might have been upset by the misunderstanding (as I was when I was still misunderstanding the matter). We cleared it up in private, so that's all good. But still, the way the discussion in the thread went ultimately gave me reason to think this might be a good time to leave MO as I think my image might have suffered beyond repair due to this. The worst thing is that she actually ultimately wanted a friend that would be kind to her and now due to the misunderstanding I decide to leave MO and thereby deprive her of the one and only wish she had in our interaction, I'm a selfish dick for leaving MO, I agree, and I am truly sorry for her in this matter. She may act tough sometimes, but she really is a nice girl I realised ultimately after we resolved the misunderstanding and therefore I hope you all will be the kind friends she needs (which I think most of you are already). So, I wish her the happiness she could use and apologize for being a selfish ass by leaving MO, because I think leaving here is better for my emotions/experience/positivity. Farewell, all.
