@514 there is no conspiracy. I don't know who posts what. There are things we do not post like threats. Maybe you didn't mean it as a threat but it sounds like one. You need to stop thinking it's personal against you cause I don't know who you are I'm just omitting what looks bad. If you really think your "joke" is so great post it on that person's wall. We'll see what others think.

515 @Archer The fact that the books' main audience are children doesn't excuse anything, especially not Lewis' writing style, which is beyond repetitive and terribly bland. Saying that "it's for children, so it doesn't have to meet the high standards of adult literature" is like saying: "Who cares if it's crap? The kids won't notice anyway!" Even children deserve quality. In fact, some of my favourite books were written for children, but their authors had a way with words and knew how to breathe life into their characters. Lewis' writing, on the other hand, is an endless sequence of "and then, and then, and then" and "he said, she said, they said", so exactly of that sort that children are taught early on to avoid, because it is so dull.
