Honestly, I'd like to know what really happened between 2.0 and 3.0 lmao. I feel like there is more to the near third impact than meets the eye

Based off the clues on 3.0 you can kinda make out what happened, but there's a lot of missing holes that need further explanation

Evangelion 1.0 is after End of the Evangelion.
Everything is connected

I don't think it is all connected, is it? Pretty sure 1.0 was a reboot

Neon Genesis Evangelion Rebuild 1.11 - 2007
Neon Genesis Evangelion Rebuild 2.22 - 2009
Neon Genesis Evangelion Rebuild 3.33 - 2012
these movies are events after end of evangelion.
The third impact happened. Shinji nearly killed everyone and bring back everyone alive
Asuka lost her eye in end of evangelion thats why in the movies she got just one eye. Everything already happened and if you watch closely the characters in the slowly realizing that everything feels like a dejavu.

Are you sure you watched the rebuild movies? Asuka has 2 eyes until Unit 01 is forced to fight 02 using the dummy plug where unit 01 takes Asukas pod out and crushes it. That’s where she loses the eye, just to double check this fact too I just went back and had a look at 2.0 and could clearly see 2 eyes.

The original show isn't a continuation to the rebuild. There's to many inconsistencies to point out that it isn't a continuation. A simple point is Shinji's mom. During a flashback of Yui's and Fuyutsuki's lakeside conversation they said:
Yui: "Even after 5 billion years, when the Earth, the Moon, and even the Sun have disappeared, it will still exist as long as even one person still lives. It will be very lonely, but as long as that one person still lives..."
Fuyutsuki:" It will be the eternal proof that humankind has existed..."
Shinji: "Good-bye, mother."
Shinji's goodbye heavily implies that he won't see her again. Shinji's mom went off into space never to return. That, plus the image thereafter of Eva-01 floating in space pretty much cements that Shinji's mom goes off into space never to return again. If she never returns to earth then Shinji's mom can't be part of the Rebuild of Evangelion. Her soul is still in Eva-01 floating out in space and not back on earth. This is just one inconsistency to point that it isn't a continuation of the original show.
