@dyadka_yar Looks like it was just a rumor spreading. You get prion disease from consuming infected brain and spinal tissue. @kuharido I didn't actually know that it was any sort of rumor. I just figured it wasn't a good idea to mess with human protein synthesis.

@kuharido that we know of, there hasnt been any extensive testing on the affect this has on the body, they drop vaccines like johnson and johnson and AstraZeneca which are killing people due to blood clots. So it is possible. Atm highly unlikely but in a year from now it could have a different affect on the body

Fun fact, the actual virus causes clots by killing the host cell it takes over , and when that cell is destroyed, it releases von williebrands factor which is a clotting agent found in endothelial cells.. obviously the virus attacks the endothelial system because thats where ACE2 expressive cells are. so, given J&J uses the real virus in their shit, it makes sense..

I'm just not seeing any strong evidence to be concerned. The JJ vaccine seems to be stopping though. So they're on top of it. Gonna get my first shot Thursday, the pfizer one. Getting covid without protection looks like the much bigger risk.

@reisenpai66 yeah imo pfizer and moderna are the safest options currently. More leaning pfizer than anything since its the one my clinic has been issuing. I just think had this taken a while to make more people would be open to it. People can preach "this wont happen" all day but you cannot control how things mutate, how the bodies react, how a different strand mutation would react to this already in the body. Too many variables for a year old virus.

While yes the actual sars thing isnt new, it still managed to send the entire world into a panic when most of the population wont die from it.

yea, my main concern is how rushed it was and how lenient FDA was on it since it was pushed via exec order.. i dont wanna hear a commercial down the road like "have you or a loved one taken the 2021 covid vaccine?" ..
