@hatingtheworld Completely understandable, the last time I checked, Los Angeles County has less than 2% ICU capacity left as of a couple days ago... There are going to be a LOT of dead people very soon.

Healthy people dont die from the virus i believe. Its people with compromised health. Yes i agree there are REAL risks involved with this virus and travel is unnecessary tbh. But on the other bvb hand this wont go away EVEN with the vaccine being dished out. You need 2 doses of the vaccine to obtain 95% immunity. Only 95% and we have no idea if its even accurate. Cuz its big pharma we are talking here. I cannot argue with people who wanna travel and stuff at this point because even with shut downs and all that the virus is still here

I’ve seen healthy people with no preexisting conditions die from covid. I see whole families go through my covid unit because they had a party or some gathering. I’ve had a doctor break down because during the height of the pandemic here, she’s never signed so many death certificates in her whole 25 years of practice as she had those three months. I’ve seen a patient lose their parents, siblings and spouse to covid. We still don’t have adequate PPE, my coworkers are testing positive but we still have to work. , and now cases are rising to even higher levels than this summer. On the plus, I scheduled my vaccine appointment tomorrow morning so yay!
