Coronavirus. Your thoughts? [Serious and Non-Serious]

Just like with the flu, it'll eventually mutate and new vaccines will have to be made. It usually takes over a year to come up with a new vaccine (Trials 'n what not). Don't look for a good, viable vaccine until probably the first or second quarter of next year. Just take precautions. Feel sick and want to go out? Wear a damn mask. Don't want to get sick while out? Wear a damn mask. Basic hygiene and a little common sense go a long way. People complaining that they can't breathe or it's impeding their rights, they need to shut the fuck up and stop being whiny little bitches. Best not wear something over your face out in the cold since you can't breathe with a mask on, right?

So Pfizer’s vaccine is 90% effective which is good but now we gotta wait for the safety data. And apparently storage solutions cause that sucker needs -70C which is gonna make wide spread distribution super problematic. Retail freezers definitely do not go that low

Germany is not having a good time rn. I know that in pandemics the second wave is usually worse than the first... but damn. It's like 5x as bad as the first. I'm just glad nobody refuses to follow regulations here. I'm going to Norway for Christmas and have to stay quarantined in a hotel for 10 days before going to my family's place. And of course I have to pay for that stay. Sucks, but it is what it is.
