you can use whatever attacks you want. there's basically an attack phase and a defense phase for each player. and each player has 5 lives. if your number gets called the closest on your attack phase, you do 1 life of damage to your opponent(unless its a crit or an ult). if your number is the closest on your defense turn, you defend the attack. if its a perfect block(meaning you call the number exactly), you do 1 life of damage to the attacker.
