Snake made the Clash system to build suspense. Its to prevent both from getting hit. So he made it into a coin toss. This way its 50/50 chance. So not everyone gets hurt in the process. Winning the coin toss allows me to hit you. Losing the coin toss denies my hit to you. End of story. No special circumstances for a ULT, has ever been implemented in the PDF file.

it doesnt specify whether or not an ult hits. we all figured it would just be 1 life regardless

because if people can take damage on their attack turn while the other defends, it only makes sense

Well, that was something that should have been decided on during beta testing. Since it wasn't, I'm calling now. Make your defense Vinyl.

Its either I have a old copy, or your lieing. Its been decided in this file already. Clash: Allow hit, or reverse hit. There is no flexing the rules on what that justifies.
