Anime Convention San Japan

Man, I never went to a convention but I want to go to San Japan 2013. I'm still debating on which character to go as. Prince of Tennis: Ryoma Echizen or Fairy Tail: Natsu Dragneel I'm trying to think of other animes that I like, but I just can't think of any. Any suggestions?

Any of the Akatsuki would be an easy cosplay. They are fairly popular and will net you many pictures and attention from fans. You'll feel like the most famous person in the world. (Assuming your cosplay is better than the other 700+ Akatsuki there.)

I'm not too much of a Naruto fan. To me, after the preliminaries exam with Lee VS Gaara and stuff, it just got old and boring.
