Disappointment

Is anyone else disappointed when they see a character who gets an amazing power and then tries to say that, that isn’t them, I’ll use Bleach’s Ichigo, he gets his Hollow powers and then claims that isn’t himself. I find this to be a cop out you have to accept what you do no matter if your conscious mind is awake or not. (just for reference I’m not speaking out of lack of knowledge, no I don’t have those kinds of powers but when I was younger I had anger issues when someone would mess with or talk about me mom in a bad way, I would black out and really hurt people, through training I can now control it, but I never blamed anyone but me, even if that was just the primitive unconscious part of me.) Though maybe I’m just taking this to close to heart, what do you guys think?

Well it gets me a bit angry when they use the power anyway in that situation. There was on character that even tho the character overall sucked i liked how they did something with him, the character is aichi from cardfight vanguard. He gained the power that showed him the card that would win the game, the downside to this power is it makes you go bat shit crazy(in an evil/bad way), and once he snapped out of it he never wanted to use it again for that type of reason. However in the finals when he faced someone who fully embraced the same power they had it where he won the game because he combined the "good" and "bad" sides of him.
