no i agree totally. i believe wholeheartedly in checks and balances its very american to not trust our government, and i think wer better off for it xD but i still stand that humans need structure, and that we are not rational the vast majority of people are not rational i believe in cutting off an arm for the betterment of the body, to favor the majority over the minority (within reason, obviously these things are nuanced and to get into specifics would need a thread in and of itself)

That's why I love the structure of starships in Star Trek. You have a Captain who's main priority is the ship and the state of the Command Staff. A Chief Engineer who's main priority is the operation of the ship and the state of all engineering crew. The Science Officer who directs the research mission of the ship with the aid of the captain and also foresees all science staff. The Tactical Officer who is pretty much in charge of the small army and all weapons on the ship. And the Medical Officer, who may not run the ship but has absolute power over even the Captain when it comes to their health. So the leadership is comprised of leaders with actual expertise and are coordinated by a "head" leader who makes sure all departments are working in tandem to maximise results. Which is why if I had my way... we'd run this country like a ship. And all the ministers would have to be experts in their field. Thankyou for coming to my ted talk.

Its only communism if we share the wealth evenly disregarding how hard each person works. They share the wealth but an admiral still earns more than a garbage man. Its just a balance of capitalism with socialism. Socialism without capitalism is just communism, and capitalism without socialism will lead to coca-cola being your overlord.
