I'm about an hour from the Minnesota border and I've been to a couple of the cities cons. We've got a good network of conventions here in Wisconsin with No Brand Con, Daisho Con, Kitsune Kon, Geekkon, Wausaubi, and Anime Milwaukee but it's nice to check out an out of state convention too like AI or Detour.
