Weirdest anime you've ever watched?

So yeah as the title says, have you encountered an anime that was so WTF insane that you have no idea how to feel about it? https://i.imgur.com/E697nCD.jpg Puni Puni Poemi takes the cake for me. Just the opening alone says it all. https://youtu.be/XZaX2U4wMCk I know it's by the same director of Excel Saga and Nerima Daikon Brothers(Actually out of the two others mentioned, I personally enjoy this anime. The ADV dub is pretty great imo) But yeah this anime didn't last longer than 2 episodes. I do admire it for going consistently off the wall. Throwing random jokes and sexual humor. But it just way too weird for me. Not to mention the English dub was worse than Excel Saga's.

I think the general idea was like tips for middle school kids about surviving high school, but in anime/manga form? You know sorta like that show that ran on nick years ago Ned's Declassified if you or anyone remembers it? At least.. that's what I think it was trying to do anyways. But the art style was just really strange and the jokes were just to weird for my tastes.

I could still somewhat follow Lain. I think Evangelion(?) was the weirdest one? With the incomprehensible storyline and overall just randomshit happening. It's like one of these shitty games you need to read a wiki for to make progress at all.
