I used to have little slivers of the future appear to me in my dreams when I was younger, like in about seventh grade.
Weird stuff.
It would be dreams about what would happen the next morning(like getting in trouble with a certain teacher without even meaning to), or it would be something that happened years in the future(unfortunately, I didn't write these all down somewhere so I can use an example, but I do remember feeling really weird about some events in my life...)
Honestly, I'm more of a lucid dreamer than anything.

Yes lucid dreams are good they allow you to do anything in your dream and feel very real there are several methods to having one some easier then others the most primary thing to do is realize your dreaming

I'd been lucid dreaming without realizing until I started exploring this site for conspiracy theorists and survivalists and 9/11 truthers... xD
Then I realized how sad it is for some people who want to access this but they just can't do it.
It's not as easy as it sounds. But I've been doing it for a good while, and I can always remember my dreams. Lately, though, they haven't been that interesting.

I like reading about a lot of stuff, but conspiracy theories just get my imagination going. I especially like the hollow earth theories that have been presented. The grays and stuff were a phase of mine back in middle school, but I still get chills reading up on shadow people sightings because I saw my first creepy little silhouette-child at six years old.

dreams if you ask me are the best way to look into the deeper aspect of the human mind. either as a whole or individually.
i think that the human mind is a very powerful thing, and that when when we are asleep the mind does not need to run so many things. that is when our minds truly kick into high gear, and some people there mind is so active when they are awake that the mind needs to do something, so it processes info you see in the daily life and using that and basic understanding of the way things work are able to see possibilities of the future. that is my 2 cents of precognitive dreams.
when it comes to basic dreams, i think, our imagination sometimes tries to create a place we would rather be. that or just runs randomly wild lol.
Lucid dreams are hard to master how to do, but are very fun to play with once you can figure it out. they are my favorite type of dream personally and i find starting the night with one helps me get to sleep. personally i am able to go into a lucid dream by starting a situation on my head as i am falling asleep and keep it going. funniest part is, my muscles tend to react to lucid dream. one night in the dream i put myself in one the anime i was watching, i think it was YYH, and the next morning my sister told me i was punching and kicking in my sleep(we were at family so were were all on some blow up mattresses in one room)

^ Well, that would explain the couple of times I would get into a lucid dream fight and I'd be both conscious and unconscious.
I remember one time I was sleeping with my little sister next to me and I dreamed about punching some guy out five times in a row. Somehow it translated over to headbutting her the same number of times, and by that point I was semi-awake but still "seeing" the dream and myself from above(kinda complicated to explain...). I REALLY woke up (aka, switched to my own point of view ONLY) when my sister got up, angered at my movements, and complained to me. I felt bad. >.< She was my favorite sister. xD
