What’s your honest experience on this site?

I think MO users go generally 1 of 2 ways after awhile. 1) Come here to find companionship. Waits for it to fall in lap. Unexpectedly makes friends. Companionship takes a back seat. 2) Come here to find companionship. Tries. Talks to someone. (May have to repeat in case of dead end), Relationship pending...

Fun~ though sometimes rough, but fun! Online dating site, but youll find friends or flirt friends instead! xD. Though i think relationship in here is kinda hard to find?

Time killer? Friend sim? Its a really cool site with an awesome community, great to kill time and just waste the day away. Always new people joining, although some leave just as fast, but its really cool so far im really glad i found it...

There's a couple of shitty people on here, but mostly everyone is wonderful. Relationships and friendships are both an option. Apart from that, there is lots of fun to be had in the forums. On a technical level, MO is sometimes very broken. I hate to use the MO chat, for example. I'd rather use Discord.

Before I came across this site, I tried out Gamerdating for 2 months. It wasn't bad in the long run. I met a friend there who wasn't there for dating and was searching for friends who had similar tastes in video games. I felt like most of the girls except her were only into the FPS genre or picked popular video games. Not many had very interesting profiles, or most of the ones I was interested in becoming friends with were inactive or deleted their accounts. Occasionally there were even fake profiles one of who tried to scam me but I've told that story a few times. So, I quit subscribing to that site because like most dating websites these days it's in general a waste of money especially if you cannot connect with people who you might be interested in. So I thought maybe there's a dating website for anime fans/nerds with similar interests? Then I found this site sometime around last late June I'd like to say? My intention wasn't to get into a serious relationship, but I just wanted to make friends with anyone who has similar hobbies, passions, or interests as myself. I don't really have many friends in real life, so I figured this would be a pretty nice opportunity. Honestly, so far I really like this site. It's not a dating website, but it's more so a website for connecting with friends around the world with similar interests, chillin around the forums either goofing around discussing fan stuff, random various topics, share art in the forums, and whatnot. It's very possible that romance can happen here as supposedly it has happened in the past. Everyone's been very friendly though. And I've had a few interesting conversations with a few members who have been a pleasure to talk to even if it's so little. xP However, there can be some drama as with most communities that sorta stuff just happens. I've been in a guild and a couple of RPs and boy they all had their fair shares of horrible drama as well. The moment I made my account, I recalled seeing soooo many spammed troll threads when I first scrolled through previous sections of the forums.(They're probably still there) Or like about a week ago, a user who shall be nameless since that user has been hit with the "Le Banned" stamp and no longer with this site any longer, had his relationship ended. He got legit mad to the point of creating a pointless thread to get revenge by sharing personal information he had with this user and vent about it. There's also creepy folks who do supposedly lurk around I guess? If you ignore all that and see the good, MO is a pretty friendly website and I'm very glad to have found it and gotten to know the few folks I have interacted with thus far. ^_^

If it showed me one thing is that don't fall for her too quickly, avoid a LDR, if she does not wanna talk in VC there is something off. If she ghosts you cut her off. It showed me what i don't want.

Pretty much just a time killer for me. Met a few people, only a few that actually still chat with me xD. Those who do stay dear to my heart. I feel like this site isn't much for dating though.
