i think insecurity is a learned behavior you wouldn't be ashamed of your height if people didn't make height important

oh we may have some debate on our hands now! i buy into evolutionary psychology a decent bit and find things like insecurity relatively instinctual. but yeah they definitely can be unlearned so ye, true true and oh shush koro dudes blow each other wayyyyy more smoke than ladies do about height

hey it's both in the same vein! we bully each other as a way to get each other to improve each others chances at reproductive success! bullies do the bullying to display they are the current better mate, and the bullied may feel as though they have room to improve their chances at successfully mating. the same kinda thing with ppl (ladies, in this case) who demand people over a certain height. they are stating that the shorty lacks the characteristic necessary for a positive/successful reproductive outcome. tl;dr play ground bullying = "no you're too short for me to be interested in you"
