oof ok my problem with nisekoi the one shot for the manga was really good but the actual manga was shit i tried the anime but shaft got its grubby hands on it and it was unwatchable SHES TERRIBLE AND THAT IS WHY SHE IS WORST POPURA WAS HARD WORKING AND THICC LOLI PERFECCTTTIIIIOOOONNNNNN

I think a large majority of harem anime is shit so is some shoujo’s But I like them anyways. Like blade dance of the elemenlers, Infinite stratos, and those types of just “Meh” stuff that I look forward to every season cause they are laughablely bad or stuff like Jitsu ha watashi ha. A real harem anime fan knows they are actually shit but also knows “WAIFUS and character designs and memes are at stake” as well as not plot but “PLOT” My favorite though which I don’t think is shit which be Date Alive tbh. I take the twins which are actually the same person as 1 package and best WAIFUS they just need more screen time or maybe more Kurumi screen time tbh. ALSO YAMADA WAS AMAZING SHE FILLED HER ROLE AS A CHARACTER TO BE DEGENERATE that’s what makes her great because her role as a character was fulfilled for the intended purpose and she has a unique charm to her that the other characters just don’t have at all which is being adorabley SHIT Yamada still hands down best to me

(and i hate inari) yeah a reaccuring theme in shoujo manga that i do not understand is that the female mc HAS to be cucked by another girl the main guy always has a side chick or another girl that wants him thats such a turn off and because of that the supporting guy (the one who loves the reader while the reader loves main love itnerest) always comes off as best guy example, strobe edge ando was such best guy, HE WAS SO AMAZING but no, the reader loved the guy WHO ALREADY HAS A GF ando tried to hard to win reader over heartbreaking (IM HERE FOR YOU ANDO)

Yamada being a lazy bratty fuck was a strange adorableness! I don’t mind that she’s flat it’s fine for her character design and I like her because all the bants and episode with her in it felt fun cause she was always trouble. The desire for lazy chaos! Shoujo manga just gives me feels and I only like one specific trait above all others in shoujo manga and it’s the Ikemen trait but when the female character is doing it and acts like a prince, hands down best trope to me of a princely Ikemen girl

You say Ando but then my brain made me think of Nendou from Saiki K and now I wanna say Ramen Ikouze tbh reading those comment sections about how the GAL girl was best girl yet I like Teruhashi who tbh is also complete garbage human being like Yamada but fulfilled a role!
