But technically we unintentionally take living creatures lives constantly without knowing.
Have you ever stepped on an ant? a snail? Dead bugs on your car window? Slapped a fly that was annoying you?

@orange, people have gotten this wrong aboit veganism too
our slogan is "do as little harm as humanly possible"
we are not saints
we do not pretend to be
it is impossible to live without taking life, but not eating meat is the literal LEAST you can do

Yeah @Lamby I agree, remember. I was just making a point lol. Our intention matters no matter what we do, whether that be the food we put in our mouths, the things we choose to buy etc etc. Intention matters.

I have no problem with vegans but I do have problems with the type of people who feel the need to bring their goddamn lifestyle into every discussion, every chance they get...when honestly no one really cares about their choices, or what they do on the daily, that's their business. This is not a even phenomena exclusive to vegans since you see this with LGBT types, hyper religious types, etc. It's genuinely tiring to be around people like that. It's even worse when they also take a holier-than-thou stance whenever someone challenges their ideas, I'm all for defending lifestyle choices when people criticize you for living like that but to me it's not something worth even getting worked up over
The whole vegan vs meat eater debate is tired as shit to me. And that tweet lamby posted last page is also very generalizing. That person seems to assume that just because someone eats meat that they are uneducated, ignorant and care nothing about climate change and environmental issues? What is being vegan a badge of honor that makes you and only you "enlightened" to the truth of the world? It's hard to take stuff like that seriously. I don't think people like genuinely hate vegans for being vegan, they hate vegans who take stances like that lmfao

People arguing for veganism are all "animals are tortured and killed," not realizing that's why I eat it. Eating meat is sexy af. Change my mind lmao.

actually, this is a good jumpi9ng off point, orange
to say "well i cant be not kill flies, so i might as well kill everything"
that because you cant do something perfectly, nothing matters so dont try
but thats not true
going down this line of logic, you might as well smoke a thousand cigarettes because your gonna die one day anyways
