How can you measure that? Did joker tell you there's a 95% chance? Cause you could've said the same thing about red hood and some people did and yet he became good, Harley Quinn had the same mental illness as joker and these days she's cured and is a symbol of feminism again life isn't as simple as numbers and statistics we don't know which is why heroes have HOPE since most heroes are like that you brought up superman yet batman would turn anti before him since superman hasn't killed that many people either and believes the same thing as batman because throughout everything Lex Luthor has done Superman has not killed him did you forget what the S stands for "HOPE" having morals doesn't mean you'll always follow them once again life isn't that simple

red hood was killing bad guys, right? i don't know too much about his lore, but he use to be a good guy, he use to fight crime and was personally under batmans wing
ofcourse he has a higher likelihood of being saved then some mentally ill smuck like the joker
mental illness only gives you so much sympathy, and the second that you harm another person that sympathy is gone.
harley quin doesn't have the same mental illness as the joker, hes way worse off than her. harley was always the more rational of the two when it came to their morals. joker had no issue with throwing her under the bus when convenient, where as she truly loved him.
harley was only 'rehabbed' thanks to the suicide squad program, and even that didn't work as she isn't a hero these days, she still does crime, just petty crimes. that's just who she is, she loves the thrill
and as a feminist myself it isn't that easy to call her a feminist icon as she has slid back into her codependant relationship with the joker even after being away from him. she is quick to get into abusive relationships because she has a codependant personality. if ivy wasn't there for her then she would slip again and be with another abuser like joker and deadshot
ivy is more of a feminist icon, she was a scientist and never needed a man (in most iterations)
so getting back to my main point, joker is and has always been a lost cause. i dare say its even more negligent to just throw him into an asylum that HES BROKEN OUT OF MULTIPLE TIMES
fine, don't kill him, keep him with you at all times. do SOMETHING that isn't the same bullshit that has him break out and kill more people

my hypothetical was generous
the likelihood of joker killing is 100%, breaking the 4th wall we know that he HAS to kill for the comics to continue, so there is no way he reforms
batman knows that he will keep killing because its the pattern of his behavior, so 95% that he will reoffend is generous to the 100% actual likelihood.

also the multiple jokers was a multiverse thing, not real cannon to the main universe, if you mean his posie they would scatter when joker dies

The multiple jokers wasn't a multiverse thing when batman sat on the chair of morbius it revealed to him that there were 3 separate jokers also red hood didn't just kill bad guys he was resurrected using the lazardous pit a source of evil and immortality that curses anyone who uses it with an insane bloodlust the same pit Batman's old mentor used and you say jokers a lost cause yet in a storyline based around superman where an apocalyptic event occured with little survivors Joker was one who finally got the care and help which caused him to reform and be a heroic figure and even before that Joker has had his moments of humanity so i wouldn't say he's a lost cause i would say more that ur ye of little faith deprived of hope

if batman is such a good man why hasn't he given joker that treatment then. why is the joker like he is. with all the money and resources batman has, why is the joker still evil?
please answer me this; there is a man that has killed hundreds and will likely kill hundreds more, the likelihood is unknown but its more than 60%
do you take that risk? are you willing to allow the lives of innocent human beings and their families hang in the balance to possibly save one murderer?

Because it's not batman that treats him Batman isn't a doctor he's a vigilante that's like saying if surgery exist why don't i an unqualified individual perform surgery on my younger brother or let him die, how about instead of doing that I go look for someone who can help him until I find the right person to help and again you keep arguing over anti hero being better than a hero rather than batman being a bad hero

never said batman has to do the treatments himself. that's a big leap though from putting the joker in a facility that he has escaped from multiple times
that is either pure negligence or stupidity
