I think you gave me a nastalgia-gasm. Such great memories and really, some of the best games, period. I miss it, but I think I'll eventually buy one on eBay and build back my childhood.

Was more of Sega Genesis kid to be honest. Though won't lie there are plenty of SNES games I loved (after I discovered emulation at like 9 years old or so) like FF6, Chrono Trigger, Live A Live, Kirby Super Star, Tales of Phantasia, Seiken Densetsu III, Star Ocean, Bahamut Lagoon, Dragon Quest V, etc
