Beta males and the girls who pray on them

dekunut
It is in my believe that this broken down communication that we see rampant in our society comes from a side effect of the Internet. With the avant of the Internet, and our modern technology not only did people have a database of information at their fingertips, but they now had a way to select what information they wanted to hear. This allowed people to create echo-chambers and polarized individuals since in this mono system, opinions were not adequately challenged. This along with attacks of Ad-hominem led to people just being afraid of confrontations out of fear of their character being attacked.

I always hate this idea of alpha/beta cause I honestly think it's crap. It overly simplifies the complex idea of masculinity and underestimates an individuals potential while simultaneously not answering what women actually find attractive about men anyways. There's shitty people, male and females, who are total users and I've noticed pretty equal amounts in both sexes. Also the guy's book has only been reviewed, with much aclaim, on like David duke's and the daily stormer's website which I'll admit, makes me somewhat biased since I'm more left leaning and I'd describe myself as a feminist so take that what you will I suppose. The comments posted on the video reeeeeally don't help either :/

Here come the political activist.....

@xueli When people say beta males, they usually just mean weak and unconfident men. Not really much to do with the amount of masculinity. Unless by masculinity you mean confidence.

To be fair the idea of left vs right lineal line of describing politics, isn't even a good way of analyzing where one lies politically in the first place. It simply to basic to account for the different factors that go into ones political views.

Ooooooookay, good talk
warmblood2
@dekunut Yeah but people just do that cause they're the dominate parties in power at the moment. It's different in other countries.

That was a response to the political activist comment. I don't actually normally see people use beta as another way of saying nonconfident. Usually when I see it used it's in terms of social hierarchy so maybe this was a communication error, but I somewhat get the idea that that's what this guy is getting at. Could be wrong, good to know other people can view the term differently

But to be fair, you asked for opinions and that's my opinion
