Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime)

I agree that the series lacks stakes. From the beginning I felt any weight from the antagonists of the world were undercut by Rimuru always having a built in way out. Essentially the only draw for me to this series is out of respect for a friend that's hyper infatuated with this show. Otherwise I probably wouldn't keep up. I do enjoy many of the characters for their interactions between one another. I just can't get invested much when "conflict" occurs especially if the main protagonist steps in to magically resolve the battle unceremoniously.

I all for him overcoming disaster with his own strength. Even if it's easily just gotta be his own strength for me. I just wanted to see more skill fusion more hunting for skills instead of waiting for disaster to come to your doorstep and somehow winning. More skill interactions is what I want. I'm all for the opness just don't be lame grind like survival and skills matter. It's been like 4 seasons I guess and I bet all the characters look the same no evolution.
