@peppa piggy I don't believe you even read my post. Yes it's not the 1800s or 1900s anymore, but that wasn't the point I was trying to make. The point I was trying to make was that yes, illegal immigration en masse is big problem. but we can do a better job at handling it as history tends to repeat itself in many ways. I then went on to explain why using verbiage that incites fear and hatred is dangerous. That was the entire point of my post, I'm not defending illegal immigration. Well either way I don't have much else to say on the topic because this thread turned out how I expected it to more or less. @Gudmoore Also, I believe Mio's response was the response you were looking for as your argument stopped attacking the position he was holding when you said and I quote: "Hey Mio, let us know when you decide to open your own home to illegal immigrants. Until then, kindly fuck off ya hypocrite. Thanks." When your 'argument' turns into attacking someone personally that's when you begin to lose credibility in my opinion. And that goes to everyone in this thread who went to that level. I personally have no 'side' or stakes in this argument but I just felt I had to point that out Laughingman makes a very good point as well

@Laughingman No. We arent going to sit hear and juggle definition. Everyone knows what a third world country is, it's a shitty one. Everything stems from the people, yes there are external factors but they are secondary. Just look at Rhodesia, once the bread basket of Africa, now they are begging the white farmers they kicked out to come back.

As far as the third world country comment goes. I understand it cam be hard to fight back an oppressive military power who reigns control over its people. But its up to the people to dictate how their country is ran. If they seek help from USA oniichan thats a different story. But violating laws and becoming violent even threatening to sue our president for discrimination when you yourself dont have the rights as an american this just screams trouble. They are problem children that havent even set foot in our country yet. Why do you think this story even gained traction? They had to have done something to generate attention otherwise it would have been a shitty old news story that went nowhere and no one would make a topic on it. People need to Stop glorifying shit and saying they deserve the same rights as a US citizen. People have died fighting wars for this country and you spit on their graves by allowing it to be invaded and have our foundation snatched from under us
