Image editing help

I'm with Pineapple on this. With Gimp2.0, I think you can separate the white background out as its own layer, then just delete said layer. Granted, I haven't played around with it too much, and there's still a number of tools to it that I don't understand.

Yes gimp is free, but it will be a bit kf work to make a perfect transparent image. You should look up a YouTube video,,because its a bit to explain.
