Sword of the Stranger review.

https://media.giphy.com/media/uHt1JRMjFXtQs/giphy.gif It had really great action scene and set pieces but it was very light on character development. A lot of times it was hard to tell what was going on aside from the basic plot. That being said the main characters are really likable even though it feels like you barely know them. Though the main child character can be annoying at times as children in moves tend to be. If you liked Samurai Jack, Samurai Champloo, or even Trigun you'll probably like this movie.

Yeah it's recommended to anyone who likes swordfights.

Sword of the stranger is an example of Studio Bones' amazing fighting scenes. What I like the most from Sword of the Stranger is the simple plot-line. When characters describe themselves or others, they don't go into too much detail, but goes straight to the point or leave it up to the viewers to fill in the blanks (like the vagabond's backstory). Of course you can go into those details and still remain on track with the plot-line, but Bones decided that for this type of movie, it is best to keep it as i mentioned above.
