Anyone watching this anime this season? It has a very nostalgic flare and I enjoy that it’s not a truly it’s this characters perspective the whole time and the CGI aspect I haven’t found annoying either Haruo though isn’t a bland protagonists but is a little shit bag at times that means well and him growing as a person is pretty great yet keeping true to his character. For me this is the best anime this season because it has a lot better writing then most things season and is a theres memorable characters and a decent op. Yet I don’t see a lot of ppl talking bout it on twitter sadly or at least nostalgia boner ppl... cry

It’s to good for me to avoid, binge watching byfar to me is one of the worse things as a seasonal watcher I like current things a lot. Though Ono as a whole I see her appeal but it has the same Apeal Onodera or Hinata have, plain blandness and the character that gives them their appeal is the MC and nit them themselves just them as a narrative function tbh but with how the story is framed it makes Hidaka no as likable even though Haruo is wanting Ono I still feel bad for Hidaka only kinda catching glimpses of when he mildly mention Ono but not by name and to me she’s better built as a stand alone character which Ono isn’t and just seems like a plot device for Haruo’s development rather than anactual love intrest which served Haruo’s but not her development. To me it was probs Written that way and when I saw her leave episode 3 and saw Hidaka in the OP song before this I already figured Ono was just a plot device and going to be used for a trigger for the love triangle and then her and Haruo will get together because Hidaka who is a good stand alone character with a clear personality will get left to the side as one of those “I’m happy if your happy” people. The cgi to me fits and catches the story well giving it a more ruffed image, I’m not to big on CGI hate boner memes because 2D animation sometimes... uhg way worse and ugly frames and random eyes never being The story works though because it’s simple love rather than overly complexed and the characters are memorable and it’s nice to turn ones brain off to, and the games become apart of their character rather than just there for the sake of being there which is nice. Overall 8/10 for now
