It's the game that finally got me to play horror games lol I love the Alien franchise so I just had to play it, no matter what spooks awaited me. Now I'm pretty used to spooky games.

I played the first one 2 months ago yea. Was a fun game, only jumpscare that kinda got me was the one where you open the door near the begining and there's a hanging body swinging to greet you. It got me because the freaking audio got so loud, that was a cheap shot lol. The Whistleblower DLC was my favorite though because of how unnerving it was trying to get away from Eddie. Felt more horror than the main game in the sense of how anxious it made you feel. Have yet to try Outlast 2.

Yeah I think what got me is when the guy jumps out at you that is in the wheel chair lol I agree whistleblower was a pretty solid dlc and it definitely had a more sought after ending. Outlast 2 is wild it’s much longer than the original game and it’s setting is pretty great. Most of the game takes place outdoors at night with some random flash back sorta parts that are in a school

The wheelchair guy would've got me but I remembered it from a playthrough I watched a couple of years ago :( It's why I put off playing the game for a while so the scares were fresh. Looking forward to playing the second one sometime. I found the story to be pretty interesting overall so I want to see how it continues in the sequel. Have you ever played the Metro series? That one has an amazing eerie environment.

I’ve played a bit of the first one and I played the second metro game completely whenever it was a ps plus game on ps3 the story was pretty cool with the whole civilization in Russia living in the subway tunnels. I need to get back into that game some time but I’ll have to rebuy the first game again
