The best things about online friends

I use a discord group for an old group of online friends. It started in msn xD Some social interactions, even online, keep me barely sane (￣∇￣)

They're great when they're there. I have more conversations or just shooting the shit with online friends more than I do with my IRL ones. I sadly find that they also disappear faster than my offline ones have.

You dont have to talk face to face, you have time to think about what to say or delete what you wrote and rewrite it. You dont have to honor commitments that at the time you wanted to do, but when the time comes you find you really dont.

Online you can talk to and make friends with people from different countries/cultures...sure the premise is that you can use English to express yourselves..

They can't see when you're stuck when trying to explain something, and can't hear you trip over your own words at times.
