Anyone here in Washington?

I just moved here and am pretty lonely since I don't know anyone out here. If there's any Washington peeps out there I'd be interested in talking with the possibility of getting to know you better with the possible end result of maybe meeting up sometime and just hanging out and shooting the shit. I'm originally from the East Coast where there's summer cons out the wazoo and I can't seem to find a single local con here (that hasn't already passed) and it's really bumming me out. Basically I'm bored and I just need stuff to do and some friends.

Don’t know if you’ll be able to make it in time, but Washington DC does have a convention coming in just a few days. Otakon, I’m personally excited for it and raring to go. Got my costumes ready and hotel room booked.

While I appreciate it (and have personally been to plenty of past Otakons myself, since as I stated in my first post I'm originally from the east coast) I was talking about Washington state not Washington DC.
