Let's talk games

What game is your all time favorite? Why? What makes you love the game to it's full extent? What makes you want to play that game over and over? What made you 100% it? Did you or did you just casually play it because you loved the aesthetic?

I'd like to apologize in advance if this is like a rule violation but I feel like i gotta discuss more than one game. My favorite games of all time would include OneShot, Undertale, The Last of Us, and each game in the Infamous series. In the case of OneShot the characters make the game. More specifically the main character Niko makes the game what an incredible journey it is. They are so lovable you just want to protect them and see them through their journey home. Additionally the soundtrack is incredibly serine, relaxing, and emotional. I love to put the soundtrack on and just zone out at times. Paired with the world building and visual aesthetic it is a well rounded and amazing game. Undertale has very similar attributes. The fanbase aside the game itself has amazing characters, music, world building and aesthetic. Undertale's advantage is that it has more interactive gameplay with it's battle system. I have played Undertale about 13 times now and still love it each time despite the fact that it begins to lose its replayability after about 7 or 8. Aside from being a story driven game, The Last of Us is very different from OneShot and Undertale as it has a lot more dynamic of gameplay being a 3rd person shooter. But similar to the other two it is story and characters which make the game what it is and why it is amazing. The Infamous series is the game series I can say I have played more than any other. I have played Infamous 2 easily over 25 times. The characters in this game series are just as incredible as those in the others, but combined with awesomely fun gameplay they are a masterpiece of development. The mechanics of the games never get old for me and the story is intriguing enough to keep me interested every playthrough, especially when given the option to play the game in two different ways, as good or evil. I remember being so excited the day Infamous Second Son was announced as those were my favorite games for a very long time. They have still not lost any replayability to me and I love them dearly. Sorry if that was long but expression of passion is hard to keep brief. Thanks for enduring.

i dont play any game over and over. But my top 3 favortie games would be super smash bros (all but melee), guitar hero (customized), & any anime styled fighting game.
