#1149 Recently I got into a spat with a dear friend and it really pissed me off. First off they accused me of blackmail in the past and wouldn't let go of it despite the fact that I told them I didn't blackmail them and when I went and read them the definition of blackmail out of the dictionary they told me I was being too literal. I'm sorry either I'm blackmailing you or not. You can't say I'm doing one thing and when I read you the definition you say I'm being too literal just because it doesn't fit your definition of blackmail describe the fact it's not the real definition of the word. The other thing that we got into an argument about was then saying that I don't let go of the past. They ask me a question and I gave them A fitting answer that required me to bring up the past. Just because I haven't forgotten the past doesn't mean I haven't gotten over the past. As they say, learn from your past so as not to repeat the mistakes in the future. Of course when explaining this and specifically mentioning that it was because they asked me a question and I gave them an answer that specifically required me to bring up the past with them they ended up getting all bent out of shape despite the fact that they themselves cannot get over the past and still hold dislike for people that we both know for things that they did in the past. He was highly hypocritical coming from them to to hear them say that I need to let go of the past just because I was saying something that they didn't enjoy hearing because I had to answer a question that they asked that specifically required me to dig into the past. That friend of mine is on here and if they see this post then they'll probably complain about it to me but nobody else here will know who it is or who I am so that's a good thing about anonymity. If they want to complain then they can't do it publicly because it would mean exposing themselves so I don't have to worry about public drama and I can just ignore them in private if I need too.
